Qichwa Wikipidiya [Quechua Wikipedia]

Quechua has been spoken in various countries of South America since the Inca empire was founded (i.e. more than 600 years ago). Nowadays, more than 12 million people speak Quechua around the world and the recent census in Peru has shown an increasing 0.4% in favor of Quechua speakers.

With Quechua Wikipedia we are trying to preserve our knowledge in a written form, so Qichwa Wikipidiya might help us to preserve as much as possible all the Quechua knowledge in a semistructured format, to save our culture, and bring equality right to indigenous communities.

Instead of imposing what the Quechua communities should learn, we ask them what they would like to learn or improve. We then prepare workshops focused on the topics they want to address and invite experts in the field to travel to the communities and share their knowledge.

I am interested on knowledge graphs, semantic web technologies, quechua language, and their applications.
